Percy Manning Artefact Collection: Oxfordshire Coins

Percy Manning assembled a collection of Roman coins from across Oxfordshire, many of which are mentioned in his papers and in his archaeological survey of the county.

After Manning's death, this collection of nearly 450 coins was donated to the Ashmolean Museum, where it is held in the Heberden Coin Room. The Heberden Coin Room also holds a catalogue listing the Manning and other local coins, some of which are discussed in the Manning archive.
